MARGARET SOMERVILLE

DR. MARGARET SOMERVILLE

Dr Margaret Somerville is the HADP Chair. Dr Somerville took up post as NHS Highland's Director of Public Health from 1 February 2010 and was previously Director of Public Health Learning at the Peninsula college of Medicine and Dentistry (University of Plymouth. Margaret has been a Consultant in Public Health since 1996, working in South West England, including the post of Director of Public Health for Teignbridge PCT. She has been the Public Health Training Programme Driector for NHS South West and is currently an examiner for the Faculty of Public Health.
BILL ALEXANDER

BILL ALEXANDER

Mr Bill Alexander took up the post of Director of Social Work in September 2010. He has worked in Social Work for 30 years. This has included periods with Strathclyde Regional Council and East Dumbartonshire Council and for the last 10 years with the Highland Council in a joint post with NHS Highland.Mr Alexander is the HADP Vice Chair and Chairs the HADP Delivery Group.
ANGUS MACVICAR

ANGUS MACVICAR

Mr Angus MacVicar took up post of Governor of HM Prison, Inverness on 31st January 2011. He joined the Scottish Prison Service 33 years ago and has held mostly operational posts within a number of establishments throughout Scotland. Prior to coming to Inverness, Mr MacVicar spent 3 years in SPS HQ in Edinburgh, working in the area of policy development.

HUGH FRASER

Mr Hugh Fraser was appointed to the post of Director of Education, Culture and Sport in March 2007, at which time he was the Council's Head of Support Services, since 2002. Mr Fraser was Assistant Divisional Education Officer for Inverness and appointed Area Education manager for Ross and Cromarty in 1999.

DAVID MCRONALD

From 2007 to the present David has been Head of Finance - Community Care working with both CHP and Highland Council colleagues on area wide matters such as Highland Alcohol and Drugs Partnership. In addition, he also works closely with the Nursing Director and Allied Health Professionals Associate Director to satisfy their information needs for what is the largest part of NHS Highland's workforce
JACI DOUGLAS

CLLR JACI DOUGLAS

Cllr Jaci Douglas (Highland Council) was elected to Highland Council in May 2007 as an Independent Councillor. Jaci sits on the Council's Education, Culture and Sport Committee, Housing and Social Work Committee, Joint Committee for Children and Young People and Gaelic Committee. She is also on the newly formed Equalities Working Group and is Children's Champion for Inverness, Nairn, Badenoch and Strathspey as well as Alcohol and Drugs Political Champion for Highlands.
