Impact of Minimum Unit Pricing (MUP) in Highland (Q2 Return)

Posted on

MUP was introduced 1st May 2018 and it is likely to be a challenging adjustment for some people.  Evidence from other countries suggests that the impact will be short term but nevertheless the Highland Alcohol and Drug Partnership is keen to understand the level of impact locally and to be able to contribute to the national picture.  It would therefore be helpful if workers from a range of services would provide information about those who have been affected.  To collect the information we have designed an easy to complete survey monkey with a list of possible ways someone might be affected and would be most grateful if you would complete it.  It should take less than 5 minutes.

We intend to collect this information quarterly through this short survey monkey; the link is below.  If it is easier to use a paper copy please send to Aileen Trappit (Email:  aileen.trappit@nhs.net) or Post to Aileen Trappit, Public Health, Larch House, Stoneyfield Business Park, Inverness, IV2 7PA).

Any questions please direct to Elisabeth (elisabeth.smart@nhs.net) 01463 704603.

Deadline for  completion is Monday 28h November  2018.  Your assistance is much appreciated.
